“Safe relief against acute pain”
Indications:
Indicated for the relief of acute pain of any intensity, such as: Post-surgical and Traumatic, Neoplastic, Gynecological, Rheumatic, Renal or Biliary, Low back pain, migraine.
Posology:
If the pain is severe, it is recommended to administer
an initial loading dose of 30 to 60 mg IV or IM,
followed by maintenance doses when necessary.
The maintenance doses will be between 15 and 30 mg parenterally, or 10 to 20 mg orally, with an interval of approximately 6 hours between them. It is recommended not to exceed 150 mg as the total parenteral dose for the first day and 120 mg as the total daily dose for the following. Orally should not exceed 40 mg daily. When the pain is moderate, it can be eaten directly using the oral route, in which case the first dose will be 20 mg and the maintenance dose of 10 mg at a time, approximately every 6 hours.
It is recommended not to use ketorolac for more than 5 days without prescription and medical supervision.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance. Renal or hepatic impairment Its use is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation.
